In Rippily, communities are called waves and rooms are called ripples.
People who help you run your community — administrators, editors, and moderators. The count is per account (not per room), so one person assigned to multiple rooms counts as one team member.
New participants won't be able to join until someone leaves or you upgrade. Your existing participants stay connected.
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades apply at the end of your current billing period.
You create membership plans for your wave and set your own prices. When someone pays, the money goes directly to your Stripe account. Rippily charges a platform fee on each transaction (5%, 3%, or 1.5% depending on your tier). Stripe's standard processing fees apply separately — these are set by Stripe, not by us.
Per ripple. If your plan allows 100 participants, each ripple in your wave can have up to 100 people at the same time.
Video and audio, chat, reactions, polls, hand raising, and the full mobile experience. Each tier determines how much room you have to grow — more participants, more communities, more tools as you scale.
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. When you cancel, your plan remains active until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account moves to the Free plan. You won't be charged again.
Since you keep full access until the end of your billing period after canceling, we don't offer partial refunds for unused time. If you're on an annual plan and cancel mid-year, you'll continue to have access for the remainder of the year. If you believe you've been charged in error, contact us and we'll sort it out.
When you downgrade or cancel, if your usage exceeds your new plan's limits, excess rooms, communities, and features will be restricted until you adjust your setup or upgrade. Inactive accounts may be cleaned up after extended periods of inactivity.
