Brand & Usage Policy

Last updated: 28 March 2026 · Section summaries are provided for convenience and are not legally binding.

Rippily™ is building a global platform for creators who build communities through live experiences. These guidelines protect the integrity of the Rippily™ brand and ensure clarity for everyone in our ecosystem — creators, participants, and partners.

They apply to all users of the Rippily™ platform, as well as anyone referencing the Rippily™ brand in external communications, domains, or marketing materials.

1. Trademark

Rippily is a trademark of Claudio Perrone, licensed to Rippily Limited. Don't use the name, logo, or anything confusingly similar to imply you're affiliated with us unless you have written permission.

Rippily™ is a trademark of Claudio Perrone, licensed to Rippily Limited. The Rippily™ name, logo, and brand identity are managed exclusively by Rippily Limited.

No individual, organisation, or community may use the Rippily™ name, logo, or any confusingly similar variation in a way that implies official affiliation, endorsement, or partnership without explicit written authorisation from Rippily Limited.

2. Reserved Names

Names like "Rippily Labs", "Rippily Pro", or any "Rippily + descriptor" pattern are reserved for official use. You can't use them for communities, events, or external projects.

The following names and patterns are reserved exclusively for official Rippily™ use. They may not be used for community spaces, Waves™, events, domains, or external projects:

Rippily™ Labs Rippily™ HQ Rippily™ Studio Rippily™ Official Rippily™ Central Rippily™ Academy Rippily™ Pro Rippily™ Plus Rippily™ Live Rippily™ TV

This extends to any combination of “Rippily™ + descriptor” that could reasonably be interpreted as an official product, service, or division of Rippily Limited. When in doubt, ask first.

3. Platform Vocabulary

Wave, Ripple, and Drop are part of the Rippily brand. You're welcome to use them to describe what you're doing on the platform, but don't build branded entities around them (e.g. "Ripple Radio" or "Wave Central").

Rippily™ uses a distinctive set of terms as part of the platform experience. These terms are integral to the Rippily™ brand identity:

Wave™ A community — a collection of Ripples™
Ripple™ A virtual space where people gather
Drop™ A seat or position within a Ripple™

Acceptable Use

Using platform vocabulary to describe activity on Rippily™ is natural and encouraged. Saying “join my Wave™” or “check out this Ripple™” is simply how the platform works.

Not Acceptable

Using platform vocabulary to create branded entities that could be mistaken for official Rippily™ programming, products, or features:

Not allowed “The Weekly Ripple” as a branded recurring show
Not allowed “Wave Central” as a community hub name
Not allowed “Ripple Radio” as a branded programme
Fine “Sarah’s Photography Community”
Fine “Web Dev Community” (on Rippily™)
Fine “Friday Design Jam”

The distinction is clear: use platform terms to describe what you’re doing, not to brand what you’re building. Your community should have its own identity, not borrow Rippily’s.

4. Restricted Authority Language

Words like "Official", "Support", "Admin", and "Staff" imply you speak for Rippily. Don't use them in community names, event titles, or descriptions unless you actually do.

The following terms may not be used in community space names, event titles, or descriptions in any way that implies official platform status:

Official Support Admin Headquarters Team Staff Helpdesk Onboarding

These terms signal authority and institutional backing. When used in connection with Rippily or its platform vocabulary, they create the impression that a space or event is operated by or sanctioned by Rippily Limited. Only verified official channels may use this language.

5. Official vs. Community Content

Official content comes from the Rippily team and carries an "Official" badge. Community content is great and encouraged, but it must not position itself as official onboarding, support, or a primary entry point for new users.

This is the most important distinction on the platform.

Official Rippily Content

Produced, managed, and delivered by the Rippily team. This includes product announcements, onboarding experiences, platform demos, official events, and any content that represents the Rippily brand to new or existing users.

Official content carries the Official badge and is the authoritative source for information about Rippily.

Community Content

Created by community members, creators, and enthusiasts. Community content is valuable, encouraged, and a vital part of the ecosystem. However, it must be clearly identifiable as community-created.

Community spaces and events may not:

  • Position themselves as official Rippily onboarding, support, or welcome channels
  • Imply endorsement, partnership, or official backing from Rippily
  • Use language, formatting, or scheduling that mimics official Rippily programming
  • Represent themselves as the primary entry point for new Rippily users

If you want to help onboard new users or represent Rippily in any official capacity, reach out to us directly. We value community involvement and have structured ways to collaborate.

6. Domains and External Presence

Don't register domains, social accounts, or services that could be confused with "Rippily" -- including abbreviations, misspellings, or phonetic lookalikes. Third-party tools must clearly disclaim they're not affiliated with Rippily Limited.

Registering domains, social media accounts, or external services that are confusingly similar to “Rippily” — including abbreviations, misspellings, or phonetic variations — is not permitted.

External tools, integrations, or services that interact with the Rippily™ platform must include a clear disclaimer that they are not affiliated with or endorsed by Rippily Limited, unless a formal partnership agreement exists.

7. Logo Usage

You need explicit written permission to use the Rippily logo or wordmark. Don't modify, recolour, or incorporate it into your own branding. Use the TM symbol on first and prominent mentions of the name.

When referencing Rippily™, users must include the ™ symbol on first and prominent use and may not alter, abbreviate, or modify the mark in any way.

The Rippily logo (icon and wordmark) may not be used without explicit written permission. This includes:

  • Modifying, distorting, or recolouring the logo
  • Using the logo in third-party marketing materials
  • Incorporating the logo into other brand identities
  • Using the logo in ways that imply endorsement

For press enquiries or partnership branding requests, contact us at legal@rippily.com.

8. Enforcement

We start with a friendly heads-up, then a formal request with a deadline. Continued non-compliance can lead to content removal or account suspension. Deliberate bad-faith infringement (like domain squatting or impersonation) may skip straight to legal action.

Rippily Limited reserves the right to request the removal or modification of any content, name, domain, or material that violates these guidelines. Our approach is graduated:

  1. Friendly notice — We will reach out directly to explain the issue and request a change. Most situations are resolved at this stage.
  2. Formal request — If the issue persists after initial contact, a written request will be issued with a specific deadline for compliance.
  3. Account action — Continued or deliberate non-compliance may result in content removal, naming restrictions, or suspension of platform access.

Deliberate bad-faith infringement — such as domain squatting, impersonation of official channels, or wilful misrepresentation — may bypass the graduated process and result in immediate action, including legal proceedings.
